Privacy & cookie policy

What we collect when you read this site, why, and how to say no.

This notice is given under Articles 13 and 14 of Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (GDPR) and Italian Legislative Decree 196/2003 (Italian Privacy Code). It applies to www.fixitinpost.ai only, not to websites we link to.

Who is responsible

The data controller is Another Perspective Pictures S.r.l., Via Monte Napoleone 21, 20121 Milan, Italy, VAT IT11535010968. For any privacy request write to info@anotherperspectivepictures.com.

What we collect, and why

  • Technical data from the server. Like every website, our hosting provider records technical data when a page is requested (IP address, date and time, page requested, browser type). It is used only to deliver the site, keep it secure and fix errors. Legal basis: our legitimate interest in running a secure website (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).
  • Visit statistics, only if you accept. If you click "Accept analytics", we use Google Analytics 4 to count visits and see which articles are read. Legal basis: your consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR), which you can withdraw at any time. If you reject or ignore the banner, Google Analytics is not loaded at all.
  • Emails you send us. If you write to us, we use your address and message only to reply. Legal basis: your request (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR) and our legitimate interest in answering.

We do not sell personal data, we do not run advertising or profiling on this site, and we do not use social media plug-ins. Fonts and images are served from our own hosting, so reading an article does not send your data to font or image services.

Who else processes the data

  • Aruba S.p.A. (Italy), our hosting provider, acting as data processor.
  • Google Ireland Limited, provider of Google Analytics, acting as data processor, only if you accept analytics. Google Analytics 4 does not log or store full IP addresses. Data may be transferred to Google LLC in the United States, which is certified under the EU–US Data Privacy Framework (adequacy decision of the European Commission, 10 July 2023). We have turned off Google signals and advertising features.

How long we keep it

  • Server logs: for the period set by the hosting provider for security purposes, normally not more than a few months.
  • Google Analytics data: 14 months, then deleted automatically.
  • Emails: as long as needed to handle your request, and in any case no longer than 12 months unless a working relationship follows.

Your rights

You can ask to access your data, have it corrected or deleted, restrict or object to its processing, and receive it in a portable format (Articles 15–21 GDPR). Where processing is based on consent, you can withdraw it at any time without affecting what happened before. To exercise these rights, write to info@anotherperspectivepictures.com. You also have the right to complain to the Italian supervisory authority, the Garante per la protezione dei dati personali, Piazza Venezia 11, 00187 Rome, or to the authority of the EU country where you live.
